How to Build a Distribution Diskette
=============================================================================

This document provides a procedure for creating a Software Manager
distribution diskette.

You will need 1 blank formatted floppy diskette and a disk label.

     [ ]    1.    Copy files to the distribution diskette. Listed below
                  are the files to copy from the main Software Manager
                  directory:

                      README.TXT       RCVRPRO.TXT
                      INSTALL.EXE      COMSOFT.TXT
                      INWIN.INF        UNINPRO.TXT
                      INWIN.SQU        MANUAL.WRI
                      SOFTMGR.HLP      SOFTMGR.TXT
                      SOFTMGR.EXE      MANUAL.ICO
                      SOFTMGR.INI      REGISTER.ICO
                      REGISTER.TXT     UNINSTL.BAT
                      DISTPRO.TXT      VENDOR.DOC
                      BOOTPRO.TXT      DOS.PIF
                      SAMPLE.RPT

     [ ]    2.    Create distribution disk label with the following two 
                  lines:

                       Sofware Manager, version 3.00       
                       To install: Run INSTALL.EXE from the Program Manager
                            
     [ ]    3.    Distribute the diskette.

For help using your file manager, start the file manager and press the
F1 key. For help using DOS commands type "help" at the DOS prompt.


What if I have a 5 1/4" drive and the receiver only has 3 1/2" drives?
======================================================================

No problem! Most areas have copy centers and businesses that provide
computers you can use to copy files from a 5 1/4" diskette to a 
3 1/2" diskette. Kinko's Copies is one nationwide operation that 
provides such computer resources at a nominal cost. To find the Kinko's
